A Boudoir Before and After {Indianapolis, IN Boudoir Photographer}

I think this post needed to be made. I have SO many woman contact me wanting to shoot boudoir sessions, but have a lot of little hang ups about their bodies. Stretch marks, belly pooches, cellulite, I've heard it all. In the end, about 5% of these women actually end up booking a session. No amount of, 'You're beautiful the way you are!', or 'I can minimize flaws and imperfections in editing upon request', eases the other 95% minds.

So, this post is for those women. Now, obviously, this lady looked great before. But, she had your typical concerns about stretch marks, etc.. The point is, I don't WANT to make you look like a different person. You aren't a supermodel (or maybe you are!)! But I can edit your body so that you still look like YOU, and at the same time get rid of your hangups. ;) And if you are comfortable with all those little imperfections that make you YOU, then more power to you! Because those imperfections make you who you are.

So, a Before and After. On the left is the before, right, after. In editing, I lightened stretch marks, lightened the line from her back to side, and slightly sucked in the belly. That's it. The only thing I actually 'got rid of' was her belly pooch, and that was because it was requested. ;) The stretch marks are still there, but lightened to where you can only see a trace of them. And then I did my typical editing recipe to finish.

I will be holding another Boudoir Marathon around the beginning of June, so be looking for info soon!!

Thanks for looking!

Prop Chairs Before and After

      I was productive today! YAY! Ok, so, I only got two chairs painted, which collectively, took me about an hour. But I got something done. That's what counts.

So I give you, ugly wooden chair before (I only have one wooden chair before photo. If you've seen one, you've seen them all)-

And ugly wooden chairs AFTER-

And of course I had by my side my trusty assistant (be prepared for obligatory adorable baby photos)-

She's really good at looking cute. Annnddddd...... That's about it.

And of COURSE I had to test out my new prop chairs in a photo! DISCLAIMER - Please do not judge my quickie editing job. I know it's 'eh'.

So, prepare to see these chairs a lot in upcoming sessions I post. Because they are awesome. And bright. And happy. And I love them!
